Diane Heron is a contemporary artist from Los Angeles, currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She comes from a family of artists, which includes the Great American Painter and Illustrator, Elihu Vedder, whose works include five wall paintings and a mosaic in The Library of Congress and the illustrations for The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám.

In the 1990s, Diane owned a successful handbag and clothing business and has experience working in the textile design and clothing industry. Her love and appreciation for architecture and interior design of all periods, are often a source of inspiration in her use of color. She has always been creative and prolific, as she continues to work with different mediums, and creates art and installations that provoke a second glance.
